IT min calls for extension of tax sops under STPI Act

The ministry of IT has recommended that tax benefits set to expire under the STPI Act for the country’s $50 billion outsourcing industry be extended as part of incentives being offered to exporters under the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Act.
